Gale Bohling is currently director of government relations for ResCare's HomeCare Services and is responsible for elderly and disability policy issues at the federal level and in more than 30 states. He is well known for advancing innovative and progressive ideas and creative concepts. Best described as a visionary and change agent, Gale is also known by his colleagues as a respected consensus builder.

Gale's long-term service on the ANCOR board of directors has included two terms as vice-president of marketing and communication His strong advocacy skills and ability to effectively communicate his principles and vision for services have been responsible for promoting ANCOR's mission in many arenas over the years.

Richard Farnsworth served as executive director of Woodfords Family Services in Maine for 18 years, where he transformed the agency into one of the leading agencies for children and adults with developmental disabilities. Prior to that, he served in a number of key leadership positions in Philadelphia and New Hampshire and also in Maine where he was regional administrator for the Department of Mental Health and Mental Retardation.

Richard has been an active ANCOR member since 1996. He served as Maine's representative to ANCOR from 2002 to 2004 and has served on numerous committees, including governmental affairs, membership and marketing. He was very active in supporting the professional development of DSPs and the increased ANCOR involvement on children's issues. Richard continues to be an enthusiastic participant in legislative visits, supporting the work of ANCOR on state and federal levels.

Suellen Galbraith has worked for ANCOR for nearly three decades, serving as ANCOR’s first director of public policy and more recently as its senior public policy advisor. Her extensive experience working for public advocacy on Capitol Hill as a Senate staff member and as senior policy point person at NARF/ACCESS made her a valued addition to the ANCOR staff 30 years ago.

Today, Suellen is one of the most respected disability advocates on Capitol Hill, admired and respected by her colleagues, congressional staff and government leaders alike. She continues to be active with the Consortium for Citizens with Disabilities, having served in many key leadership roles, including co-chair of its Long-Term Services and Support Task Force.

Suellen's expertise is frequently noted by the Centers of Medicare & Medicaid Services, and she has served on numerous CMS committees and advisory groups, assuring an important link for ANCOR and its members.

David Ray Kiely has more than 35 years of executive experience and currently serves as CEO and managing partner at Silver Fox Advising, bringing innovative services to people with disabilities in New York, South Carolina, Minnesota and Indiana. His work specializes in developing programs with quality and vision in nonprofit organizations, all within the parameters of budgetary constraints.

As an appointee by President Ronald Reagan to the U.S. Department of Labor Sub-Minimum Wage Committee, David was able to contribute to legislative decisions affecting the employment of people with developmental disabilities.

David served on the ANCOR board of directors for eight years, participating on many committees and contributing to the success of ANCOR’s Program committee and its conferences both as a planner and presenter.

Kathy LeMay served as the president and CEO of Dakota Communities from 1977–2005. During her tenure, she led the organization through extraordinary growth, adding respite and support services to a rapidly expanding residential program.

Kathy's extensive work with the Minnesota legislature, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services and the Department of Human Services—as well as her volunteer work with the St. Paul ARC, the Governor's Council on Disabilities and the Association of Residential Resources in Minnesota—reflect her commitment and dedication to the field of disabilities and her desire to effect change that improves the lives of the individuals served.

Kathy began her service on the ANCOR Board of Representative in 1977. As many providers were beginning to see Medicaid as a potential funding source, Kathy represented ANCOR and its issues on Capitol Hills in testimony before Congressional committees. Her early work on Medicaid paved the way for ANCOR's active and ongoing dialogue with the federal government on Medicaid issues.

Dennis Popp had a distinguished 29-year-long career as CEO of the Black Hills Workshop and Training Center in Rapid City, South Dakota. During that time, he was an active member of ANCOR board of directors, including serving as vice-president.

Dennis played a significant role in attracting the majority of providers in the state of South Dakota to ANCOR membership. As a persuasive and talented public speaker, Dennis was also recognized for his testimony before Congress on behalf of ANCOR to further the right and services of people with disabilities. His contribution as ANCOR's representative on the board of the Council on Quality and Leadership reflected his professional dedication to promoting quality in all aspects of service delivery for the benefit of those served.

Tim Quinn was a long-term active member of ANCOR. He was also known as a "provider's provider" who was committed to the organization he led—The Arc of Northern Chesapeake Region—for nearly two decades and led the effort to transform his traditional organization into an inclusive community for people with developmental disabilities and their families.

Tim created a program entitled Life Assistance, which promoted engagement in one’s community and overcoming any and all barriers to this goal. He led the way in the development of inclusive recreational programs and community employment. Most importantly, Tim inspired others on local, regional, national and international levels and encouraged other providers to aspire to similar achievements.

Terry Rogers has led CHESCO Services in South Carolina for more than 20 years. Under his direction, the agency has provided exceptional and varied employment opportunities that promote choice, successful job experiences and participation in the community.

Terry also serves as a board member and active volunteer of Friends of the Disabled-Latin America (FRIDLA), which collects, refurnishes and provides adaptive equipment for children and adults in Latin America. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the South Carolina Human Services Providers Association.

Terry has been an active ANCOR member, first serving as South Carolina's representative and then as the southeast director on the ANCOR Board of Directors. Terry has also generously contributed to the work of the ANCOR International Committee. Currently, he is a member of the ANCOR Foundation's Board of Directors.
