Ian Teague

About Ian
Ian is a visionary leader with nearly 30 years of experience supporting people with I/DD across Arizona and Maine. Currently serving as Director of Service Integration, Ian brings an “operational architect” mindset to his work—designing systems that uplift people, strengthen teams, and advance person-centered excellence across training, clinical services, quality assurance, and program development.
His path began as a Direct Support Professional, and through every step—Program Manager, Clinical Services Coordinator, and now Director—his commitment has stayed the same: meet people where they are, build trust, and support growth. Ian’s leadership is both strategic and deeply relational. He’s most proud of the moments that don’t make headlines: helping someone start a business, teaching emotional regulation strategies, or designing environments that reduce anxiety and trauma.
A certified PAC Independent Dementia Consultant and longtime youth mentor, Ian brings the same intentionality to his volunteer work as he does to his professional role. His strengths-based positive support planning model has led to a 66% reduction in behavioral management plans at his agency. He also championed a tech-first policy that increased independence and quality of life across services.
Ian’s connection to the field runs deep—beginning at age four, when he first accompanied his mother, a nurse at an institution. Even then, he was drawn to people’s communication styles and stories. Today, that same curiosity and empathy guide his work as a coach, leader, advocate, and father of five.
