About Lauren
Lauren Vohland is a systems thinker with a people-first heart. As Executive Director of GoodLife Innovations—a Kansas-based nonprofit that has been pioneering creative, community-based solutions for more than 40 years—she leads with a blend of strategy, humility, and deep mission alignment.
For over 15 years, Lauren has helped shape GoodLife’s nationally recognized service models, including neighborhood-based supports and integrated day services that prioritize dignity, autonomy, and workforce stability. She is especially skilled at bridging the gap between policy vision and everyday practice, bringing clarity to complex challenges. Her leadership has been instrumental in addressing some of the toughest operational puzzles in the I/DD field, from workforce compensation to service navigation—especially in Kansas, where the intersection of rural and urban needs demands creative, community-centered responses.
Lauren brings a steady, solutions-oriented voice to policy advocacy, Medicaid funding conversations, and organizational systems work—always with a focus on sustainability, inclusion, and quality of life. She holds a master’s degree in public affairs and is a proud 2025 graduate of the ANCOR Foundation Leadership Academy.
