Liz Holle

About Liz
For over 17 years, Liz Holle has been dedicated to helping people with I/DD live full, supported lives. She started her career in 2007 as a Direct Support Professional while earning her bachelor’s degree, and since then, she has taken on leadership roles that shape disability services at Big Lakes Developmental Center.
Now, as Deputy Operations Officer, Liz oversees essential programs that support community integration, transportation, employment, and residential services. She is passionate about bridging the gap between disability services and the broader community, making sure that inclusion isn’t just an idea, but a reality. Her work includes:
- Training police officers on how to interact with individuals with I/DD through Crisis Intervention Training (CIT).
- Leading educational sessions to raise awareness about disability inclusion.
- Mentoring young professionals in leadership and advocacy.
Beyond her work at Big Lakes, Liz is active in her community, serving on boards and committees such as the Flint Hills Area Transportation Association Board, Flint Hills Wellness Coalition, Rotary Club, and Junior League. She also founded Lattes & Leadership, a mentorship and networking program for young professionals.
Liz is currently working toward a Master’s in Nonprofit Administration to continue strengthening disability services and building inclusive communities. At home, she is a proud mom of three energetic boys and a determined toddler who keeps the whole family on their toes. Whether she’s at work, in the community, or with her family, Liz is always creating opportunities, fostering inclusion, and helping others thrive.
