Maghan Bowman

Maghan Bowman is a purpose-driven leader with two decades of experience in program development, service delivery, and community engagement. As Executive Operations Director at Exceptional Persons, Inc. (EPI), she oversees services that support over 400 individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities across residential, employment, payee, and intermittent programs.

Since joining EPI over a decade ago, Maghan has brought a collaborative spirit and deep commitment to creating environments where all people can thrive. She is especially passionate about building inclusive communities that honor diversity and uplift every voice. Her leadership style is grounded in empathy, equity, and a fierce dedication to continuous improvement.

Maghan’s impact extends beyond her day-to-day work. She is an active force in advancing disability rights at the national level through ANCOR, where she serves as Co-Chair of the Board of Representatives and a member of the Government Relations Committee. In recognition of her leadership and advocacy, she received the 2024 Bonnie-Jean Brooks Rising Star Award.

Born and raised in Hudson, Iowa, Maghan earned her Bachelor’s degree in Criminology with minors in Family Studies and Sociology from the University of Northern Iowa. She lives in Iowa with her husband, Marcus, their children, Grayson and Delaynee, and their dog, Dallas.
