Maria Samot is a leader in instructional design, adult education, and leadership development, dedicated to creating engaging, accessible, and effective learning experiences. As the Senior Vice President of Content Development at Relias, she oversees the creation of innovative training solutions that support disability service providers, health care professionals, and human services organizations.
With over 25 years in education and training, Maria’s career has spanned classroom teaching, curriculum development, and nonprofit leadership. Before joining Relias, she served as Associate Director of the Best Practices Training Initiative at Georgia State University, working to enhance professional development in human services. Her expertise lies in blending digital and in-person training modalities to create meaningful learning experiences that empower professionals.
Maria holds an M.Ed in Divergent Learning from Columbia College and a B.A. in Psychology from NC State University. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling with her husband and two daughters, always seeking new experiences that inspire both personal and professional growth.
