About Terry
Terry J. Rogers began his career with CHESCO Services in 1990 as the Director of Residential Services. At that time, the agency was very small. Then in 1995, Terry became the Executive Director and expanded services throughout South Carolina. Today, CHESCO Services provides a comprehensive array of disability services throughout the state.
Terry has done extensive work the disabilities field in Santiago, Chile, where he established wheelchair refurbishing centers and has worked with the University of Santiago in disability services, including intellectual disabilities. Additionally, he has provided mobility equipment in Peru, Bolivia, and Uruguay by working with the governments there to help coordinate improvements in the disability services system.
Terry recently established and serves as the CEO/President of a non-profit organization to serve the nourishment and mobility needs in South America called “My Brothers’ Keeper of Latin America” (MBKLA).
In the past, Terry has served on the ANCOR’S Board of Directors, the International Committee, and is a Legacy Leader.
