About the Legacy Leaders Hall of Fame
A legacy does not happen by chance. It comes from deliberate choices that keep people with disabilities at the center. These choices—whether big or small—create ripples that last for generations.
The Legacy Leaders Hall of Fame honors long-time ANCOR members whose vision, service, and leadership embody that truth.
The ANCOR Foundation, ANCOR’s charitable partner, works to strengthen providers and communities so people with disabilities can live full, included lives. Honoring Legacy Leaders is part of that mission. By lifting up those who shaped our association, we show how leadership rooted in service and inclusion creates lasting change.
This recognition began in 2010 as the Legacy Leaders Circle, created to honor ANCOR’s most influential leaders—both bold innovators and quiet changemakers. In 2024, it became the Legacy Leaders Hall of Fame. The new name reflects our commitment to recognize not only visible leaders, but also those whose behind-the-scenes efforts empowered others. Together, their impact makes ANCOR stronger and more inclusive.
